	monitor adjustment
	This adjustment is not mandatory to enjoy images in the gallery or any other parts of our site. Yet doing it you will improve your experience with images on our site and any images from other sources. You should be able to view 21 discreet shades of gray from white to black in the scale below. The end white step (far left) & black step (far right) should merge with the white stripe at the bottom and black stripe on the top.

	If you do not clearly see all shades you might do the following to adjust you monitor: - Turn the contrast control, usually a half black/half white circle, all the way up or 100%. - Adjust the brightness control, usually a sun symbol, until you can differentiate the dark squares. - If necessary, adjust the contrast control to differentiate the light squares.
